It starts when we show up authentically. This creates a relationship between kids and their grown ups that enables mutual learning, courageous conversations, and transformative generational change.

Growing Toward Liberation’s mission is to support adults in co-creating humanizing and healing-centered relationships with kids. Through educational resources, mentoring, and supportive community, we support grown ups in recognizing the small moments that are already happening through which they can creatively facilitate developmentally-appropriate, inquiry-driven, and consent-based engagement with children around issues of identity, social justice, power & privilege, systemic oppression, activism, autonomy, inclusion, and collective liberation.

We don’t need to have all the answers or say all the right things. We just need to keep showing up. When we allow ourselves to learn from and with kids, we are already doing something revolutionary to disrupt systems of dehumanization and oppression. It is possible to reimagine and co-create a more inclusive world.
